Ward 1 ANC supports bike lane

DumbBike after the snow
A SmartBike user tried to use a bike after the snowstorm. Much of the bike station was not buried in snow, but a few bikes were, including the one the station assigned. The customer service rep couldn’t do anything, and a supervisor never called back. (TheWashCycle)
Eight feet for Seven Locks
Montgomery County plans an 8-foot walking and biking path on both sides of Seven Locks Road in Potomac. Much of the road currently has no sidewalks, but people walk and bike on the shoulder anyway. (Potomac Almanac)

Forgot to include this one yesterday: The LA doctor who deliberately swerved in front of two cyclists and slammed on his brakes, sending them to the hospital, was sentenced to 5 years in prison after the judge decided that he wasn’t remorseful enough. (LA Times)
