From the very beginning, the core of GGWash’s success has been its dedicated and engaged community members. There are all kinds of ways you can get involved in our work, whether by attending an event, volunteering, or writing to your local representatives. Check back here or sign up for email updates to stay in the loop about ways to engage with us.
GGWash's Breakfast links are the conversation starters for the day on our blog. We are looking for people with a nose for news, who can handpick six to 10 engaging stories across media platforms that cover the region's biggest urbanist stories. We need early risers. Links usually go out by 9 am and need to be submitted to editors by 8 am. The time commitment is a couple of hours on one morning each week, and you get your byline on each post you curate. If you're one of those people who has to get the scoop before their cup of coffee (or tea) in the morning, then this volunteer position is for you. Click here for more information.
Our Comment monitors are vital to ensuring the discourse in our comments section stays thoughtful, respectful, and productive. If you're someone who has a short amount of time throughout the day once or twice a week to read through recent comments and make sure they abide by our comment policy, this would be a great opportunity for you.

At GGWash, volunteers remain central to our day-to-day operations. They help craft content, improve the quality of our articles, participate in our political endorsement process, and so much more. We would love for you to get involved in GGWash and your community – we have several ways to volunteer!
Sometimes, our policy team needs help from the community to demonstrate popular support for policy initiatives. When those come up, we post about them here.
