CityCenterDC broke ground yesterday, 8 years after being first proposed. It will have retail, a park, affordable housing, unaffordable housing, and reconnect 10th Street. It will also have a nice pedestrian alley through the center, somewhat like Bethesda Lane with “specialty retail.” There’s a million dollars a year set aside for special events.
