Higher home values in Prince George’s County are fueling an increase in County Executive Rushern Baker’s proposed budget for next year, particularly for schools and public safety. The budget also allocates money for a new regional hospital in Largo. (Post)

Noise law lockdown
ABRA is kicking off a noise law campaign to encourage establishments to follow DC noise laws. As part of the campaign, a task force will conduct unannounced noise checks at DC nightlife establishments. (City Paper)
