The Georgetown BID is considering widening sidewalks on weekends by temporarily eliminating parking, so there’s room for more pedestrians. There’s also the somewhat off-the-wall idea of a gondola from Rosslyn. (Post)

WMATA tracked riders’ Bluetooth devices in a pilot project at Fort Totten. The aim is to better understand how people move around in the station, and how many people transfer between lines there versus at Gallery Place. (PlanItMetro)
Medical Center access moves forward
Montgomery is looking for bids on its project to add a new entrance ot Medical Center Metro and a pedestrian underpass. Despite being a pedestrian project, MCDOT also modified the intersection to make cars move faster, which might make it more unsafe to cross on foot. (Gazette)
More intelligent campus design
The 30-acre intelligence campus in Bethesda will get biking and jogging trails, though only for employees, since the campus is closed to the public. Some buildings will also get green roofs. (Gazette)
