Max Skolnik is a candidate for DC Council in Ward 4. He lives in Petworth with his wife Erica and their 1-year-old son Julian. After graduating from George Washington University with a Master’s Degree in Latin American Studies, he founded Kid Power, Inc. in 2002. He championed support for local schools, affordable housing, community-based development, and public safety as a 2-term ANC commissioner in Southwest Waterfront from 2004 to 2008.
