Michael Freedman-Schnapp is an urban planning and public policy expert at Forsyth Street Advisors. He was previously the Director of Policy & Innovation for the New York City Council, where he was critical to the planning and implementation of the largest participatory budgeting process in the US. He teaches courses at the Pratt Institute and NYU Wagner School in public policy and urban planning.
