MPD ticketing distracted drivers at record rate
DC’s police have been citing drivers for talking or texting behind the wheel at a frenetic pace this year. The Department is on track to record a 24% increase over last year. (WTOP)
New York City enforcing speed limit, bike laws
NYC DOT is launching a new campaign to increase awareness of the city’s speed limit and increased enforcement on the street, including citing cyclists who flout traffic laws. (WNYC)
Arena Stage reopens tomorrow

Infill moves forward
“Return to L’Enfant,” the development to deck over the 3-block I-395 gash in downtown DC’s fabric, is up for zoning approval in December and could break ground in June.
