Metro’s Silver Line extension to open after four years of delay
There are still some details to finalize, including the final passenger safety certification, but Metro is confident everything will be ready on November 15, before Thanksgiving, as promised. MoCo opens a solar microgrid to fuel its electric buses
With room for 14 buses now, and plans to grow to 70 buses by 2026, the microgrid at the Brookville Bus Depot can generate 4.14 megawatts of power. The project will help Montgomery County reach its climate goals, as well as provide a roadmap for overcoming the technical and financial challenges of powering electric bus fleets with solar power. Interdisciplinary team of scientists starting work in Baltimore on climate adaptation and resilience

Seaplane service has started from Dulles Airport to New York City
