An officer who turned a driver over to ICE was suspended
A Fairfax County Police Department officer was suspended for allegedly holding and then turning in a driver into ICE after a traffic crash. The officer apparently violated the department’s policy against performing civil immigration enforcement for ICE, according to Fairfax Police officials. The incident is still under investigation. This nonprofit cleans up parks in Ward 8
Ward 8 Woods is a nonprofit dedicated to cleaning up the trash and debris throughout neighborhood parks. Now, they also have five paid “park stewards” to help with the job, offering residents an opportunity for employment as well. (Will Lennon / TheDCLine)
A Florida man was caught tampering with scooters
