With many items on the agenda for this month, the Zoning Commission has delayed discussion of the proposed parking regulations until its October meeting. At least I’m pretty sure it has—after mentioning that “proposed actions”, of which the parking issue is one, will come last, Chairman Hood said that the Commission would “continue” its discussion of the topic at the October meeting.

“Continue” sounds like bureaucracy-speak for “not talk about until”, but it’s remotely possible he meant they’ll start it tonight and then finish it then. it’s too bad Hood couldn’t simply have used some plain English, such as, “We are not going to be talking about parking at tonight’s meeting and will instead discuss it in October.”
