• We’re looking for an experienced Transportation and Housing Policy Manager who will drive real change on transportation and/or land use policy through our coalitions, such as DC Sustainable Transportation.
• We’re also looking for an Advocacy Campaign Associate to involve, educate, and activate our community of supporters and volunteers through our website, online actions, email list, and other methods.

These two people will work closely together to get things done that advance our community’s priorities. One will work with partner organizations and officials on policy, while the other will work on making all of you an integral part of these issues and campaigns.

There is some sadder news, and the reason one of these jobs is open: David Whitehead, our amazing Housing Program Organizer, has gotten a great opportunity and will be moving on from GGWash. David has done amazing work on the DC Comprehensive Plan, the 59 bus on 14th Street, Arlington accessory apartments, Reston housing, a dangerous trail crossing in Montgomery County, the Prince George’s zoning rewrite, public bathrooms, and much more. He most recently led our ANC endorsement process in which at least 24 urbanist candidates won contested races.

We’re taking this opportunity to reshuffle job responsibilities a bit, and have two great positions ready to go.
