102 people (and a baby in a train dress) came together to celebrate on Wednesday evening at Greater Greater Washington's 9th birthday party. Thanks to all of the readers, contributors, volunteers, and supporters who joined us!

The team at Sudhouse in DC's U Street neighborhood took great care of us. Thank you for hosting the GGWash community.

Thanks to all the local elected officials, agency heads, and planners who showed up to support Greater Greater Washington. Councilmembers Brianne Nadeau and Jack Evans stopped by as did WMATA General Manager Paul Wiedefeld!

For some, the evening was about reconnecting with old friends and colleagues, for others it was about getting to know Greater Greater Washington better and meet new people who are committed to a greater greater Washington region.

This party and Greater Greater Washington's work would not be possible without support from the more than 400 people who contributed to the reader drive and The Chevy Chase Land Company, who share our commitment to building walkable, transit-oriented communities across the Washington DC region. Thank you!

Finally, a shout out to Corey Nichols who photographed the evening. Corey is our former office mate and we've converted him into a true GGWash'er. Thanks for capturing the evening, Corey!

If you weren’t able to join us for this year’s party, we hope you can join us at an upcoming event. In the meantime, thank you for being a part of our nine years (and counting)!
