We asked (and asked, and asked) and you stepped up to make this year's reader drive a success! As of this morning, readers and supporters like you have helped raise $30,170. You did it!

Here's how we'll put your donations to work

Greater Greater Washington truly could not keep up our work without support from readers like you. With your donations, we can continue to:

  • Publish daily posts about the forces that shape our region from improved bus, bike, and transit infrastructure to maps about how we use public and private land in our area
  • Host free blogging workshops to help new writers share their observations, ideas, and opinions about the best ways for our region to grow and progress on GGWash
  • Advocate, online and offline, for safe, reliable transportation and enough housing options so everyone can choose to live in a transit-oriented, walkable neighborhood

Did you miss out on donating?

Did you keep meaning to donate, but forgot to actually do so? No problem! A recurring donation of $5 or $10 a month is a great way to support Greater Greater Washington beyond the reader drive. Having reliable income from readers throughout the year helps us manage expenses and budget smarter.

Celebrate with us

Staff, contributors, editorial and board of directors members, and dozens of other supporters are gathering to celebrate at Sudhouse this evening, Wednesday, March 29th at 6:30 pm to celebrate another successful year. If you'd like to join us, please RSVP; space is limited!
