Baltimore bishop charged with manslaughter
The driver who killed a cyclist in a bike lane was charged with manslaughter, driving while impaired and texting, and leaving the scene of a crash. The case galvanized bike advocates. (NYT)
Clean up the Inner Harbor!
Baltimore City and County will have to remove trash flowing into the Inner Harbor. The mandate (similar to the one for the Anacostia River) is bringing more street sweeping and perhaps bans on some items. (Trash Free Md.)
Ride On increases service
Montgomery’s Ride On transit service is altering a host of routes to increase frequency, decrease travel time, or expand service. Officials say this is the biggest service enhancement in a decade. (Post)

The National Park Service may build a paved, lighted path across a piece of Fort Totten Park where people already cross to the Metro. Alternatives include one path, multiple paths, or no paths and a fence. (TheWashCycle)
