Just a reminder that we’ll be hosting a forum with Councilmember David Catania, chair of the DC Council’s Committee on Education, on Monday, December 9, from 6:30 to 8 pm.

The forum will be held at the Hill Center, 921 Pennsylvania Ave. SE (Eastern Market Metro). Light refreshments will be served.

Greater Greater Education contributor Ken Archer and I will moderate the discussion, fielding questions from the audience. You can also suggest a question in a comment to this post, and we plan to take questions during the event via Twitter as well (hashtag #GGELive).

Please RSVP to the event here.

There’s a lot to talk about in DC education these days: redrawing boundaries, improving middle schools, helping DC residents pay for college, ending social promotion, and more. This is your chance to join the conversation, and to get to know other members of the Greater Greater Education community. Hope to see you there!
