Rock Creek Trail fixes slowly moving
DC and NPS have been talking about fixing up the Rock Creek Trail since the 1980s. They’ve agreed to widen it to 10 feet except in a few places, are waiting for a very slow environmental assessment process. (WABA)

DC will cut sales tax, some fares
DC revenue estimates rose $92.3 million. The DC Council will likely cut taxes by about $38 million and spend $50 million on free Metro for students, keeping Circulator fares at $1, more arts funding, and other priorities. (Post)
