Councilmember Jack Evans’ Director of Communications, Desi Deschaine, may have drowned in the Baltimore harbor over the weekend. He went for a walk Sunday evening, and authorities believe he may have fallen off a dock. The Blade has the story. Feel free to ignore the Blade’s annoying habit of making it sound as though the sexual orientation of every person is the most and only important fact about them.

But my broader issues with the Blade are irrelevant to this tragic story. Update: Deschaine is dead.
