For a while, Georgetown was “West Washington”
Businesses and residents of the neighborhood near Nationals Park can’t decide whether to call it Navy Yard or Capital Riverfront. If Georgetown is any precedent, then the newer Capitol Riverfront name won’t stick, at least not forever.
