DDOT releases ballpark parking report
Many blocks of parking in the ballpark area, Pennsylvania Avenue, and 8th Street could see higher meter rates, according to a report released by DDOT earlier this month. More protected bike lanes may soon follow the bike lane on 15th Street NW, with one top being M Street SE/SW, running from Sixth Street, SW to 11th Street, SE, a route that Tommy Wells has been interested in for quite a while. The HOPE VI mixed-income project replaces 707 units of mid-century garden apartments with 1,500 new units, maintaining the 707 units of affordable housing.
