DDOT will adjust meter rates, use money for neighborhoods
DDOT has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on neighborhood improvements thanks to the performance parking zones, and new reports on the Ballpark and Columbia Heights performance parking districts propose adjustments both up and down for meter rates. Walk or bike along the Anacostia, but only business hours
People will be able to walk and bike the entire length of the Anacostia starting April 1, but the portion past the Navy Yard will only be open during business hours, meaning the trail will be inaccessible during the very times it would be most popular.
