Think you know Metro? It’s whichWMATA week 143

It’s time for the 143rd installment of our bi-weekly “whichWMATA” series!

This week, we’re doing the contest a little differently. This is our first whichWMATA “before and after” quiz. Each of the sets of stations below can be combined so that their names, when spoken aloud, blend into one another.

For example, if we were in Atlanta, one possible combination would be Lakewood/Fort McPherson station and Westlake station. Combining them would give the correct combination of WestLakewood/Fort McPherson. In San Francisco, the combination of Fremont and Montgomery stations would give the correct answer: FreMontgomery.

Below, you’ll find four sets of two pictures and one set of three pictures. Each picture is of a single station. The first step is to figure out which station is in each picture. Then, within the set, figure out how to combine the two stations such that if you were speaking out loud, the stations would blend together. The pictures are not necessarily in the proper order.

The correct response should take the following form, using the examples from above:
Set 1: WestLakewood/Fort McPherson
Set 2: FreMontgomery

Please have your answers submitted by noon on Thursday. Good luck!
