Last Thursday DC announced several real estate opportunities on District-owned land, but without one of its major cheerleaders. John Falcicchio abruptly left his role as deputy mayor of DC last week, and both the Bowser administration and Falcicchio himself have yet to provide a reason why. Alexandria economic development leaders optimistic despite office tenant mix changes
The Alexandria Economic Development Partnership continues to remain optimistic about filling up office space, despite the recent announcements that both the Motley Fool and the US Patent and Trademark Office would be reducing their office space in the Carlyle District near the King Street and Eisenhower Avenue Metro stations, citing telework. Pedestrian dies from vehicle collision on Silver Spring’s Columbia Pike
