NoVA bus systems activate long-held plans for Silver Line extension opening
Regional bus systems, like the Fairfax Connector, Loudoun County Transit, and OmniRide are jumping into action following the announcement of the Silver Line extension opening. They need at least three weeks to execute plans for bus connections, realign bus service in surrounding neighborhoods, and inform riders of service changes ahead of the opening. Baltimore leaders seek land use alternatives to the “Highway to Nowhere”
Baltimore Department of Transportation has applied for federal funding to study what to do with US Route 40, or the “Highway to Nowhere.” The project displaced 1,500 in a predominantly Black middle-class area 50 years ago. MoCo police offering safety course for drivers and passengers on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities
Montgomery County Police Department is partnering with Pathfinders for Autism to offer a driver safety course for people with developmental disabilities. Bicycle and pedestrian bridge opens in Tysons
