Virginia House Democrats propose payments instead of gas tax holiday
Lawmakers in the Virginia House of Delegates opposed Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s plan to suspend the state’s gas tax because they say it would mainly benefit companies that sell gas and out-of-state motorists who buy gas in Virginia. Japanese street festival drew 35,000 people

Maryland’s gas tax holiday likely to expire on April 16
Republican state lawmakers in Maryland failed in their effort to extend the state’s gas tax holiday for 45 days, so prices are likely to inch back up when the holiday expires on Friday. Prince George’s County neighborhoods see house prices grow

Senior homes are coming to The Boro in Tysons
The former headquarters of the National Automobile Dealers Association in Tysons has been demolished to make room for the expansion of The Boro, a mixed-use community.
