Want to ask Ward 2 council candidate Patrick Kennedy a question tomorrow? Also, join the Young Professionals in Transportation and GGWash for a discussion about the role transit will play the region’s recovery post-coronavirus, and more in this week’s urbanist events.

Join our meet and greet with Patrick Kennedy: How many times have you wanted to call, email, or write your councilmember about an issue in your neighborhood? Now is your chance to ask a candidate in the Ward 2 primary election questions about housing, transit, or most anything urbanist related.

In January, we endorsed Patrick Kennedy for the Ward 2 for his proven track record in Ward 2. He’s a car-free renter who has served on ANC 2A for a decade, where he’s supported more bike lanes, more affordable housing, and neighborhood schools. (He’s also a longtime GGWash contributor!)

Join us from 7:30 to 9:00 pm Tuesday, May 12, for a chat with Patrick about housing, transportation, and land use in DC and Ward 2, and hear what his plans are should he be elected to the DC council. We’ll moderate a discussion and facilitate questions and comments from the audience.

Do you have something you’d like to ask Patrick? Leave it in the comments below.

Registration is required or this free event. The video link will be shared with registered users an hour in advance of the event.
