Join the Initiative For Sustainable Energy Policy (ISEP) for a discussion on climate change and our food systems from 12:30 pm to 2 pm Tuesday, February 18, at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, 1619 Massachusetts Avenue NW.

The guest speaker will be Jessica Fanzo, an associate professor of global food and agricultural policy and ethics at Johns Hopkins University’s Nitze School of Advanced International Studies.

Join author KT Alozie, as they discuss their book “Black Wall Street” and what lessons can be drawn from this piece of history. The event begins at 6 pm at the Prince George’s African American Museum and Cultural Center, 4519 Rhode Island Ave, North Brentwood, Maryland. Speak your mind about transit issues in Maryland: The public is invited to join transit advocates for Maryland Transit Legislative Action Day, a series of events to bring about awareness of transit issues, as well as a chance to speak to legislators about whatever challenges you have with transit. The day starts with a rally at 4 pm, Wednesday, February 12, outside the House of Delegates at the corner of St. John’s & College Avenue, in Annapolis, Maryland.
