On December 5 at 6 pm, GGWash is cohosting a Ward 2 candidate forum with the Center for Washington Area Studies and the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy at George Washington University at Gelman Library. There’s just a few spots left—get your ticket now!

The last Ward 2 candidate forum, which we cohosted in September alongside a number of other progressive groups, was broad, and covered everything from education to wealth taxes to criminal justice and policing. This time, we’re going to ask candidates Jordan Grossman, Patrick Kennedy, Kishan Putta, and Yilin Zhang specifically about land use, transportation, and housing. We’re thrilled that Jenny Schuetz, of Brookings’ Metropolitan Policy Center and the Center for Washington Area Studies (and a Greater Greater Washington contributor!) will be moderating.

We’ll collect audience questions at the forum, but you can get a head start on that by suggesting, in the comments, what you’d like us to ask.

For a refresher on where each candidate stands, you can read their responses to our October surveys about transportation, housing, and land use. The more specific your suggestions, the better!
