Advocate for a complete Long Bridge: DDOT and the Federal Railroad Administration are holding a public hearing on the Long Bridge Project at the DCRA building (1100 4th Street SW) from 4-7 pm. It’s a crucial piece of infastructure that will improve rail travel from Virginia to DC, and could also give pedestrians and cyclists a new span over the Potomac, connecting two of the region’s fastest growing neighborhoods. Come to this hearing to ask that the pedestrian/cyclist bridge be constructed simultaneous with the new rail span.
