Do you think it’s imperative for DC and the Washington region to create enough homes for everyone, including affordable homes, and to grow equitably and inclusively for both new and long-time residents? Do you enjoy organizing community leaders and organizations? Do you want to work with our amazing team?

We are looking for a Housing Program Organizer to drive real change on land use policy in DC and the region. You will bring powerful public and private leaders together, and coordinate with elected officials and local leaders to identify areas of shared agreement, help make concrete plans for action, and follow through to see they are executed.

Does that sound like you? Then take a look at our complete job description and apply!

Not you? Send the posting around to people you know who might be interested!

As I’ve mentioned, David Whitehead, our current Housing Program Organizer, is leaving for an exciting opportunity to organize in education, but we’ll miss him. Maybe you, or someone you know, would be perfect to step into his work on the Comprehensive Plan, working with YIMBY organizers around the region, and helping Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners better understand the land use process and encourage more homes in the best way for each neighborhood.
