Jon Orcutt from TransitCenter, a New York City-based urban mobility foundation, recently tweeted a video of a rather stressful bicycle ride on a new bike lane on West 13th Street. Among other obstacles, he encountered two piles of foliage and six vehicles blocking the lane:

To be honest, this isn't so different from my commute. Even when I take routes with bike lanes I frequently dodge ride-hailing cars, delivery trucks, and even piles of shattered glass. Readers: what's your most stressful or challenging ride in the Washington region?
