Rail~Volution is almost here, and we hope you’re as excited as we are for this national transit conference. If you swear by Capital Bikeshare, are addicted to your NextBus app, or just plain love learning about sustainable communities, stop on by the Rail~Volution Filmfest on Monday the 17th.

In between all the seminars and networking events, the Coalition for Smarter Growth (CSG) and the New Rail~Volutionaries will offer a film festival featuring the best in transit developments around the country. The festival will kick off at 6:00pm as part of the Rail~Volution program but you don’t even have to be registered for the conference to attend!

The filmfest will feature short films (like the ones from StreetFilms) focused on the themes of transit and livable communities. From bus rapid transit, to streetcars, cycletracks and more, you’ll want to be a part of this virtual multimodal journey and social event.

Last year in Portland, this event attracted hundreds of transit and smart growth leaders from across the country, so be sure to stop in to see great films and meet great people. This year, all proceeds from the event’s $25 tickets will benefit CSG’s work in the Washington region.

After the festival, we’ll head to The Big Hunt in Dupont Circle for a reception. Have a drink on us as a thank you for stopping by and supporting our work.
