Events: How to plan a better bike commute

Riding in DC by Philip Cohen licensed under Creative Commons.

Some people are taking advantage of more available space on the roads and either dusting off that old bike, or maybe thinking of purchasing one in the near future. While many other people still need their bike to get to their job.

But when it comes to commuting how do you keep yourself safe? How do you pick the best route? The Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) is hosting a class on commuting basics that “will cover topics such as ride etiquette, how to select a route, suggestions of maps and apps to use, and more.”

This zoom class will be held from noon to 1 pm Monday, May 4. This class is free and open to the public, but you must register.
