WMATA has released the proposed bus network redesign. Along with a new map with new route names, the proposal includes major changes to routes and service frequency, including more service during off-peak hours and on weekends. Now WMATA wants your feedback!

This week, there are two in-person opportunities to weigh in on the proposed changes. You can catch the Better Bus Network team at the Columbia Heights Education Campus on Thursday, June 20 from 3 - 7 pm. Learn more here.

Also on Thursday, the Coalition for Smarter Growth, Montgomery for All, and the Montgomery Better Buses Coalition will be in Silver Spring at Black Lion Cafe from 6:00 - 7:30 for a communal comment writing session. RSVP here. ( NOTE LOCATION CHANGE —> now at Black Lion Cafe in Silver Spring!)

If you can’t make either of these, WMATA will be hosting pop-ups at Metro Stations across the region. You can catch them at the Friendship Heights Metro Station from 7:00 - 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 18, and at the Southern Avenue Metro Station from 3:00 - 7:00 pm on Friday, June 21.

You are also highly encouraged to submit comments online before the deadline on July 15. Check out our guide!
