Monday, June 1

Get certified to manage green projects: As green infrastructure projects become a mainstay in DC, residents are encouraged to consider careers in the industry. As such, DC Water and the Water Environment Federation launched the National Green Infrastructure Certification Program (NGICP) with the University of DC to train, qualify, and certify District residents for the green infrastructure workforce.

On Monday, June 1 at 2 pm, the agencies are hosting an information session in advance of a one-week virtual training program that will get participants ready for the NGICP exam. The training, which is free to DC residents, will run from June 22-26. It will focus on the inspection, construction, and maintenance of green infrastructure projects.
