Patch up that bicycle: Don’t miss the last free bike repair clinic on the calendar at the Anacostia Neighborhood Library (1800 Good Hope Road SE) from 12 to 2:30 pm. Organized by volunteers from Gearin’ Up Bicycles and The Bike House. Bike repair clinics are educational and designed to teach you how to repair and maintain your bike.

Bring your bike (limit of one adult bike or two children’s bikes per customer) and a willingness to learn. Walk away with new, empowering skills. The Washington Area Bicycle Association, DC Safe Routes to School and the Metropolitan Police Department will be providing support, bike safety information, and creative activities at each clinic. Get more information here.
