To make a positive impact in the community, it’s important to do more than just read about and discuss issues online. We publish our weekly events post to tell you about opportunities to get out and act!

One of the most fun ways to get involved in your community is with art! This weekend, help beautify the West Hyattsville Metro Station with two professional mural artists from Hyattsville. Along with the painting, there will be live music, art activities for kids, and refreshments.

Worried about your paint skills? Have no fear: this will be a paint-by-the-numbers type of thing, so people of all skill level can join. RSVP here!
