DC officials plan to clear four encampments over the next week

Judge dismisses lawsuit to block a new apartment building in Old Town Alexandria
After the Alexandria City Council approved a special permit in January to replace an office building with a 48-unit apartment building, neighbors filed a lawsuit asserting it went against historic district requirements. MoCo officials point to zoning reform as key to solve the county’s housing crisis

Vienna to build a mini-roundabout at site of a recent crash
This will be Vienna’s second mini-roundabout and is being installed at the intersection of Church and Locust Streets NE, where a driver seriously injured a woman on April 24.
