The National Safety Council (NSC) is hosting a panel to discuss the intersections between youth development and mobility. In the US, motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death for all ages of young people, and many young people lack safe options for moving around independently. Land use and infrastructure decisions can present additional barriers to mobility and limit opportunities for growth, development, and joy, especially for marginalized youth. At this webinar, hear directly from those working in the youth mobility space and young people whose growth and development is affected by barriers that land use and infrastructure decisions create.
