Two pedestrians died over the weekend
Early Saturday morning, two drivers struck and killed a pedestrian who was walking near the 9th Street exit ramp on I-395 in DC. MDOT denies appeals for Purple Line contractor claims

IAD now features a new pickup area for Uber, Lyft

DC puts Delaware back on its list of high-risk states
The District has put Delaware back on its list of 30 high-risk states due to the coronavirus pandemic. Delaware, a popular vacation destination, was initially included on the list but removed on August 10. The region’s market for condos still appears strong
Despite the coronavirus-induced recession, the market for condos in the region remains relatively strong. While the number of new condos sales is down 8% since last year, sales have largely rebounded since a major slump in March-April, and nearly three years of new condo supply is currently in the construction pipeline.
