Black Women Bike DC, an organization that encourages bicycling for Black women and girls, recently released a video highlighting what riding a bike in Central and Southern Prince George’s County looks like.

The video was part of the National Organization of City Transportation Official’s 2020 NACTO | BBSP Bike Share & Cities for Cycling Virtual Roundtable event, which showcased the different ways communities experienced bikes and streets.

Throughout the video, the viewer gets a first hand look at what it’s like for bicyclists to navigate the streets in Prince George’s by bike. The narrator points out several challenges from bike lanes that end abruptly, to streets with no bike lanes, to a lack of places for people to lock their bikes. What else did you notice?
