Then and Now: 3200-3214 Park Place

When the homes at the northwest corner of Kenyon and Park Place were built in 1916, they were advertised as being “Up to date in every particular” and sold for $3,950. At that time, the Soldiers’ Home park across the street from them was open to the public and extended south to the McMillan Reservoir.

Today, front porches have been added to several of the homes and the former Soldiers’ Home land south of Irving has been developed for several hospitals. The home at the corner of Kenyon and Park Place is currently on the market for $344,900. You can see the listing here.
