How did Arlington get to be the way it is? Is it its proximity to Washington, DC? The Pentagon? The Metro? Arlington created a documentary, Arlington’s Smart Growth Journey, to explore this question and the history of Arlington’s evolution into a national model for Smart Growth. I’ve cut up the documentary into sections, so we can watch and discuss a little at a time.
