Calling all Terps: Tuesday, February 6 from 6 to 8 pm, join contributors and readers in College Park for the next GGWash happy hour. And have you signed up yet for our journalism forum on January 30?

Happy hour: We're returning to Prince George's County for happy hour at MilkBoy ArtHouse, located at 7416 Baltimore Avenue next to the University of Maryland. Originally founded in Philadelphia, MilkBoy is a restaurant, bar, and performance space that's a key part of efforts to make College Park more of a college town.

To get there, you can take the Green line to the College Park-U of Md Metro station, which is a 13-minute walk away. Metrobus routes 83 and 86 and The Bus route 17 stop one block away at Baltimore Avenue and Knox Road, and the C2, C8, F6, and J4 stop on the University of Maryland campus a 10-minute walk away. If you're a member of mBike, College Park's bikesharing system, there's a dock across the street.

If you plan to come, please RSVP here!

In the past few months, we've been to U Street, Shaw, Park View, and Silver Spring. Where will we go next?

Journalism forum: In addition to our amazing panel with Washingtonian editor Michael Schaffer, Washington City Paper editor Alexa Mills, former DCist editor Rachel Sadon, Capital Weather Gang's Jason Samenow, NBC4 and WAMU reporter and commentator Tom Sherwood, and former DCist writer Christina Sturdivant, we're excited to announce that Mark Ein, the new owner of the City Paper, will give a brief introductory keynote.

The event is Tuesday, January 30, starting at 7 pm. Get your tickets here.
