Cars in Blizzard (1/28/1922)Cars in Blizzard (2/11/2010)

Historic image from the Library of Congress National Photo Company collection.

Vehicles buried in snow after the Knickerbocker Blizzard (1/28/1922) and the heavy snow and blizzard we just encountered (2/11/2010). The contemporary image was taken on the 3670 block of Park Place, NW. While it looks like some vehicles were under more snow this year, at least we didn’t have to worry about removing the snow from their interiors.
