Pop-back problems
ANC6C and Capitol Hill residents say a “pop-back” on a rowhouse violates zoning rules. Commissioner Mark Eckenwiler says that DCRA should not have permitted the building. Now the Board of Zoning Adjustment will review it. (Post)

WMATA audit complete
WMATA has completed an audit of its 2014 financial statements eight months overdue. Due to new Federal Transit Administration oversight, receipts are required before WMATA can accept federal funds. (WTOP)
WMATA’s firefighters
WMATA only has enough money budgeted to keep two firefighters at the Rail Operations Control Center for a few more months. The positions were created to improve communication after January’s Yellow tragedy. (WTOP)
