According to District, Measured, lower property taxes tend to be offset by higher home prices in DC. The offset tends to level out to the annual cost spent on housing in cities with higher property taxes.

Arlington County Public Schools will outfit buses with cameras to catch stop sign violators. The cameras will capture the license plates of cars that don’t come to a full stop. (ArlNow)
BRT in Baltimore?
In a recent interview, Maryland Lieutenant Governor Boyd Rutherford suggested bus rapid transit to replace Baltimore’s Red Line, as BRT is more flexible than rail. State officials say the idea is not being “actively pursued.” (Post)
