WMATA faces $90 million budget gap
WMATA faces an estimated $90 million budget deficit (PDF) for next year, assuming the same level of service, fares, and jurisdictional contributions. Defunding Pike conversion threatens Montgomery’s growth
Recently, the Montgomery County Executive submitted a funding plan for White Flint that omits converting Rockville Pike into an urban boulevard.
