Harriet Tregoning opposes DC’s row house downzoning plan
Mere months after she stepped down as head of DC’s Office of Planning, Harriet Tregoning’s former agency came out with a proposal to limit the height and numbers of units that can go in many row houses. DC may limit condos and building heights in some row house zones. Is this a good idea?
The DC Office of Planning wants to further limit the height of houses in some row house neighborhoods and restrict the ability of property owners to split their houses into multiple units.
