GGWash Fall Mixer

This casual event is the biggest gathering of transit fans and housing advocates around. It’s your chance to connect with hundreds of like-minded people in a welcoming, family-friendly space.

Metrobar has 11,000 square feet of outdoor space, meaning lots of room to mix and mingle in the fresh air. Picnic tables, umbrellas, cabanas and – newly opened! – the bar inside their on-site Metro railcar #5058. Could there be a cheerier way to usher in fall? 

Plus, it's an evening out for a good cause. The majority of each ticket sale directly supports GGWash's work and Metrobar is donating a portion of the night's proceeds to GGWash. So come on down to this platform, no SmarTrip card required!

Family-friendly (until 8:00 pm): Metrobar is a family-friendly venue through 8:00 pm and families are welcome to bring their children to the Fall Mixer. Childcare will not be provided, but we'll have a couple of kid-friendly activities for little ones to enjoy. 

Transportation: Metrobar is located one block west of the skybridge from the Rhode Island Ave-Brentwood Metro to the Metropolitan Branch Trail, and ½ block north of Rhode Island Ave NW. GGWash enthusiastically encourages attendees to choose transit, bike, scooter, or sidewalks as their travel method.
